Job Description

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help improve and maintain our technology, including our mobile app and web platforms.

In this role, you will work closely with our product and design team to build reliable, accessible technology people can use during emergencies. You’ll help develop new features, improve existing systems, troubleshoot issues, and support the continued growth of our platform as we expand to more communities across the country.

This role is a great fit for someone who is technically strong, enjoys collaborating across teams, and wants their work to make a real-world impact. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, is comfortable taking ownership of projects, and enjoys building thoughtful, user-centered products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable code for our mobile and web applications using React and React Native.
• Collaborate with product, design, and leadership teams to build reliable and user-friendly features.
• Contribute to technical architecture and engineering decisions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Help troubleshoot technical issues, monitor performance, and improve system stability.
• Participate in sprint planning, project coordination, testing, and product launches.
• Document code, technical decisions, and processes clearly and consistently.
• Collaborate across teams on product improvements, usability, and accessibility.
• Support testing, bug tracking, and quality assurance efforts to ensure a strong user experience.
• Work closely with users and stakeholders to understand needs and improve the platform over time.
• Support and collaborate with contributors across the organization.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production-level applications.
