Job Title: Social Media Volunteer

Volunteering Commitment: 5-10 hrs a week
accesSOS is a tech nonprofit organization on a mission to make emergency help accessible. Our vision is communication access for all. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer that can help our team create and manage relevant content for our social media.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Program Director to:
- Assist in managing and updating our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tiktok and X
- Create engaging, accessible, and relevant content, including graphics, images, and captions, to share accesSOS´ activities, achievements, and initiatives.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and conversations relevant to our organization and engage with our audience.
- Answer comments and questions in our social media channels.
- Help plan and execute social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and implement social media strategies.
- Analyze social media metrics and prepare reports to track the effectiveness of our social media efforts.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms.
Qualifications:
- Must Have: Professional experience as social media/content manager or similar
- Familiar with inclusion and accessibility best practices for social media
